Inside the house

Handyman Services: One Call for the Whole List

The small repairs and odd jobs piling up around the house, handled in one visit by a local, insured handyman.

Remodeled bathroom with a double vanity, gray walls and tile floor

Every house has a list. The cabinet door that hangs crooked, the caulk that's peeling in the shower, the towel bar that pulled out of the wall, the screen with a hole in it. None of it is a big job alone, but together it adds up to a house that feels like it needs work. That's what our handyman services are for. One call, we do it all.

Common items on the list

Inside - Re-caulking tubs, showers, sinks and backsplashes - Tightening or re-hanging cabinet doors and drawer fronts - Replacing cabinet hinges and pulls - Hanging towel bars, toilet paper holders, mirrors and pictures - Installing grab bars into studs - Replacing outlet and switch cover plates - Patching small drywall holes - Fixing sticking doors and loose knobs - Replacing window blinds and curtain rods

Outside - Replacing window and door screens - Fixing loose fence boards and gates - Replacing rotted trim pieces - Caulking around windows, doors and siding gaps - Installing house numbers, mailboxes and hooks - Securing loose handrails

Why batching saves you

A handful of small jobs done in one trip is more efficient than calling for each one separately. Before we come out, walk through your house and write down everything that's been bugging you. Our guide on batching your honey-do list has a simple way to organize it, room by room.

Honest about what we take on

We're a handyman and lawn care business, and we know where our work stops. We won't take on:

  • New electrical wiring, circuits or panel work
  • Gas lines or gas appliances
  • Roofing
  • Heating and air conditioning
  • Plumbing beyond fixture-level fixes like faucets and sinks and toilets

When something on your list falls into one of those, we'll tell you and suggest you call a licensed pro. Our guide on handyman vs. contractor explains how to tell the difference.

How a visit works

  1. Send us your list. Call, text or use the form. Photos help a lot, especially for anything you're not sure how to describe.
  2. Free estimate. We look at each item and give you a clear estimate. Pricing depends on what's on the list and the parts needed.
  3. We schedule it. Monday through Friday, at a time that works for you.
  4. We clean up. When we leave, the work is done and the mess goes with us.

A good fit for

  • Busy families who don't have time for the small stuff
  • Older homeowners who'd rather not get on a ladder
  • Landlords getting a unit ready between tenants
  • Sellers getting a house ready for showings

Common questions

Is there a minimum job size?

Small jobs are welcome. If you only have one quick fix, it often makes sense to add a few more items to the same visit to get the most from the trip.

What if I don't know what's wrong?

That's fine. Send a photo or describe what you're seeing. We'll come look and tell you what we think it is and whether it's a job for us or for another trade.

What kinds of jobs don't you do?

Licensed trade work: electrical panels and new wiring, gas lines, roofing, HVAC, and plumbing beyond the fixture. We'll tell you plainly when a job needs a licensed pro.

Do you work weekends?

No. We work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
