Faucet and Sink Repair at the Fixture

Dripping faucets, leaky supply lines, slow sink drains and new faucet installs handled at the fixture level.

A dripping faucet keeps you up at night and wastes water every day. A slow-dripping supply line under the sink can quietly ruin a cabinet floor. Most of these problems are at the fixture itself, which means faucet and sink repair is usually a quick, practical fix and not a big plumbing job.

What we fix and install

  • Dripping or running kitchen and bathroom faucets
  • Faucet handles that are stiff, loose or hard to turn off
  • Low flow from a clogged aerator
  • Leaky or worn braided supply lines
  • Under-sink shutoff valves that drip or won't close
  • Slow drains caused by stoppers and P-traps
  • Leaks at the drain connections under the sink
  • New faucet installs on existing sinks
  • Re-caulking sinks where they meet the counter

Common reasons a faucet drips

The cause depends on the faucet type:

  • Cartridge faucets (single handle, most common today): the cartridge wears and lets water by.
  • Compression faucets (two handles, older homes): rubber washers wear out and harden.
  • Ball and ceramic disk faucets: seals and O-rings wear, or mineral buildup keeps them from closing tight.

Our guide on whether to fix a leaky faucet or call for help walks through which ones are a good DIY job.

Repair or replace?

We'll fix it if parts are available and the faucet is in good shape. We'll suggest replacing it if:

  • The body is corroded or cracked
  • It's an off-brand model with no replacement parts
  • You've fixed it more than once and it keeps dripping
  • You were thinking of updating the look anyway

Where fixture repair ends

We stay at the fixture level. That means the faucet, the supply lines, the shutoff valve under the sink and the drain parts you can see under the cabinet. Call a licensed plumber for:

  • Leaks inside walls, ceilings or under the slab
  • Water heater problems
  • Main line backups or drains clogged far down the line
  • Moving or adding water or drain lines
  • Gas lines of any kind

If we find something past our scope, we'll tell you right then so you aren't paying for a visit that can't solve it.

Check under your sinks

Once in a while, open the cabinet and look. Water stains, a warped cabinet floor or a musty smell mean a slow leak. Catching it early saves the cabinet. Got a running toilet too? We can handle both in one trip.

Common questions

Should I repair my faucet or replace it?

If the faucet is fairly new and good quality, a cartridge or washer usually fixes a drip. If it's old, corroded or parts are hard to find, a new faucet is often the better choice.

Do you fix leaks inside the wall?

No. Leaks in pipes inside walls, under slabs or in the main line are work for a licensed plumber. We handle the fixture, the supply lines and the drain right under the sink.

Can you install a faucet I bought?

Yes. Bring us the faucet you picked and we'll install it, along with new supply lines if the old ones are worn.

My sink drains slow. Can you help?

Usually. Most slow sinks are clogged in the stopper or the trap right under the sink. We clean those out. If the clog is deeper in the line, a plumber with a drain machine is the next step.
